this was inspired by Studio Calico's awesome packaging and a little ali edwards.
i printed the photo right onto cardstock to save a step in cutting and pasting.

charlie's hair is growing back nicely for the most part. at least that's what i keep telling myself. it is, after all, just hair and it's one thing that always grows back when you're a youngester. now it just looks like he's got an awful 80's part in the middle like eric estrada did on CHIPS.
it's just hair.
in between watching his hair grow out, i've been trying to work with him on writing his letters. specifically the letters that make up his name. and we were able to get it on paper:
for some reason, i love this milestone. it's a big one for me. so big that i've scrapped it when both girls did it too:

yeah.
madeline did the same thing except she took a chunk out of her hair around her right ear. she did that shortly after i took her picture in her layout.
i should switch out charlie's pictures for more recent ones but i don't have any yet. maybe i'll take some of him today...

i don't know why he was so angry. i think he was trying a diversion tactic.
i thought i made sure to put all the scissors away but somewhere he found a pair of children's scissors and went to town on his bangs.
