FFL: i don't have an iphone...

i don't have an iphone. i have no plans on getting an iphone. yes, they're really cool. but i don't need one. but i can't help noticing all the cool pictures they take. i believe they're called instagrams?

cathy zielske created a free template about her love of instagrams. you can see the post here.

but i did something else with it:

hermione vs. vector

my oldest went to go see Harry Potter at the midnight showing last night. i did that once. it was for the opening night of twilight. after getting home around 4:30 in the morning, i promised i would never do that again because 1. the movie sucked and 2. my body just didn't recover very quickly after pulling an (almost) all-nighter.

so my oldest dressed up in her HP gear and got ready for the movie:

and charlie, who hates to be outdone by anyone had to dress up as well...

when i asked him who he was, he said he was vector from dispicable me.

i must admit, the resemblance is uncanny, right down to the blunt bangs. the only thing missing is the orange jumpsuit.

just in case you didn't know already, if a wand and a gun are ever in the same room, this most certainly ensues:

i don't know who won this round but i would've put my money on the bigger one...

FFL: a CZ scraplift

my middle child turned 8 at the end of june.

my oldest will be turning 10 next month.

crap.

it does go by too quickly...

i printed my photos right onto white cardstock again. really saves me time and i like the textured look it gives the photos. this layout is a lift of this layout created by cathy zielske.

the FIFTH of july

i didn't go to the fairgrounds to watch fireworks with the family this year so my husband took the kids and met up with friends. realizing i had NO pictures of the kids this fourth of july, i made them go out yesterday night with some left over sparklers and light up the night.

i'm patriotic, aren't i?
