I created this layout in December, after our first real snowfall of the season.
I'm hoping we are nearing an end to the snow because I'm here to tell you, after 9 snow days this year, I'm not really sure if I can handle anymore. By mid-February, even the girls were starting to dread snow days because it was too cold to go out and play in the stuff.
Speaking of school, Charlie started preschool at the beginning of January. After the first apprehensive week, it's been pretty drama-free. He wakes up excited about going and walks right in without even a look behind. His preschool is at our church, where we've been members for almost 10 years. Last Sunday, we ALL went to church, something we haven't done since Charlie was born. As we were waiting for the service to begin, Charlie looks over at me and asks, "What is this place?"
Parent fail.
Yet again.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Your pages are really are the best. I follow a bunch of blogs, but yours appeal to me in a way others don't.
Thanks for posting.
We all have those moments with our kids. You didn't fail. They have to come up with this stuff so we can torture them with it when they are older.
Like when my 2yr old boy wanted me to call him "Oprah" and he insisted on saying this, loudly and repeatedly... through Walmart. Now, at 10, it is just one more way to remind him not to take himself too seriously.
