the shortest post evah.
it's katie's fifth birthday today so i've been running errands, getting ready for our family dinner tonight. luckily, she's not high maintenance and all she asked for is a white cake with purple icing.
charlie, on the other hand, didn't want to take very long naps today which brings me to the layout part of this post:

Happy Birthday to your daughter! 5 is so grown up - that's the age of my eldest son and it's amazing how quickly they go from being a young child to a real little person.
