are they not the cutest? we went to michigan to visit our friends and to meet their twin girlies, megan (top) and jessica (bottom). I don't think richard or I could stop holding them while we were there. they are so precious! i miss holding them already...
I barely have any pictures on my walls and that's weird since I'm a photographer. I have frames everywhere. I mean everywhere but nothing in them. I have such a hard time deciding which ones of the girls to frame, that I don't frame any of them. But I think I'm going to frame these. They're not the best, but they're so her.
Ingenious people. Really. It was a Swede who came up with this concept. I love IKEA. It's affordable and so cute. I love the clean lines to their designs. I love them so much I've redone the girls room entirely with IKEA furniture.
The beds, bedding and bookshelves are all from IKEA. And here's the ingenious part...the twin beds can be made into bunk beds as the girls get a little older. :) How cool is that?
But there are some down sides. Like assembly. As my sister-in-law once noted that IKEA sounds a lot like I'll kill ya (LOL) because that's how you feel sometimes while you're putting the furniture together. And their website is not very user friendly (booo). And because I live in KY I usually have to get things shipped and shipping is not by any means cheap (double booo). And you can forget about trying to get a catalog, especially if you live around here. I had to borrow mine from the store I visited while I was out in Seattle.
But there is good news...I hear that an IKEA will soon be opening in Cincy some time next year (yay!)
I forgot my wedding anniversary. again. I can never seem to remember. Even as a newlywed, I never remembered. I think it annoys the husband a little but he knows he's my one and only and has been for the past 13 years. Anyhoo, to celebrate a much belated anniversary (i'm only 5 days late), I'm posting a layout I did a while ago and a scraplift at that :)
